Congratulations to Nathan Mulhern of the Billikens (A-10) for winning DICK’S Sporting Goods Week 10 Player of the Week. On Sunday evening, Nathan had 12 points in addition to a couple rebounds and assists in a 28-20 win over the Rams. The scorekeeper of the game said Nathan “had a ton of great drives to the basket” and said he “gave 110% on every play.” Nathan won a zip up and free pizza at Tony Roni’s – looks like his teammates can get behind some free pizza! #ThisIsWhyWePlay
Congratulations to Sam Sturman of the Knights (AAC) for winning DICK’S Sporting Goods Week 9 Player of the Week. In his first season playing Havertown Hoops, Sam has had a great season so far – helping lead the Knights to a 5-1 record. On Saturday afternoon, Sam had 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists in a win over the Tigers. Sam’s teammate, Matthew Browne, contributed in a big way – both scoring and rebounding. With just a few games left, the Knights are getting hot at the right time! Go green!
