Shoutout to Luke Hagan of the Badgers (Big 10) for winning the DICK’S Sporting Goods Week 5 Player of the Week! On Sunday’s win over the Wolverines, Luke had 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and a block. His willingness to work hard on both ends of the court are a major reason the Badgers are 3-0 this season. Luke is making a run at most improved player!

We had two great performances on light blue teams this week by Daisha Watson and Sam Sturman.

Daisha had 6 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals in a hard fought loss. She set many hard screens, allowing her teammates to drive to the basket. They ended up losing by one point to a team they beat by one the week before.

Sam won PoW for the second straight year this year. He had 15 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks. He made the extra pass to find open teammates so everybody would touch the ball. He was grinning ear to ear watching other people on his team score.

Great players and better people!

Henry accounted for 12 of the team’s 14 points on offense and had a huge impact defensively. For the Patriots, Cal has 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals. Two great performances by these studs.

Congrats to Joseph Graziani of the Orangemen for winning the DICK’S Sporting Goods Week 2 Player of the Week! Joseph covered the stat sheet in the Orangemen’s narrow win over the Seminoles. Joseph had 13 points, 3 rebound, 6 assists, and 4 steals. His steal and basket with under two minutes to go essentially iced the game. Joseph, you are the man!
